Gautam Gambhir to lead India in West Indies
Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir will lead the Indian team in West Indies during their upcoming tour to the Caribbean nation.
The All-India Selection Committee met in Chennai on Friday to pick the Indian team for the one-off T20 International and One Day International (ODI) series against the West Indies.
Key senior players of the team like Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Zaheer Khan have been rested for the One Day Internationals (ODI) and T20 matches.
They will be available for the Test series.
Suresh Raina has been named the vice-captain for the side along with large numbers of young stars like S. Badrinath and Wriddhiman Saha being included in the side.
