Girl student killed, 5 injured as tree falls in college campus in Kerala

Thrissur (Kerala) :  An officials said that a girl student was killed and five others were injured when a tree, uprooted by heavy winds, fell on a group of students in a college in Kerala.

The incident occurred at Sree Krishna College at Guruvayoor near here on Thursday morning. The college was the venue of the Kozhikode University Youth Festival and there were many students in the campus then.

The condition of two of the injured was said to be serious.
