HC to decide Rajasthan Royals future

Mumbai : It will be a crucial day for Shilpa Shetty and others concerned with Rajasthan Royals as Bombay High Court is likely to give verdict on Tuesday on the expulsion of the Indian Premiere League franchisee, media reports says.

The court judgement will decide whether Royals will feature in the next edition of the cash-rich league.

It will also decide whether the case will move to the Supreme Court in future or will the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) be made to play ten teams in the IPL, next season, if the judiciary upholds the arbitrator’s verdict.

BCCI had terminated the agreement with RR on Oct 10, saying it had changed the shareholding pattern without informing either the Board or the IPL governing council.
