In Kerala, four held for gang raping two schoolgirls of Classes 9 &10
:Pathanamthitta, Kerala : Four boys were arrested in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala for allegedly gang raping two schoolgirls.
The girls — students of Classes 9 and 10 at a government school in Adoor town — were abducted by a group of boys, who took them to Cheriazheekal village.

The matter came to light when the school authorities informed about the incident to the Child Welfare Committee of Pathanamthitta School, which in turn reported the incident to a local police station.
Police arrested the accused after the girls recognised them. The accused, who are said to be members of a sex racket, are natives of nearby places such as Karunagappally, Cheriazheekal, and Clappana.
