India bowled out for a mammoth 338
Bangalore : India were bowled out for 338 runs in 49.5 overs against England in a Group B World Cup match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here Sunday.
Sachin Tendulkar was the top scorer with 120 while Yuvraj Singh (58) and Gautam Gambhir (51) came up with important knocks as well.
For England, fast bowler Tim Bresnan bagged five for 48.
Sachin Tendulkar was the toast of the Indian knock as he bagged his 47th century and his fifth in the World Cup.
He scored 120 before he was caught by M Yardy off a J Anderson delivery at 120 off 115 balls.
