India elect to field first vs Ireland
India won the toss and elected to field first against Ireland in their World Cup match here on Sunday.
India are playing with their side unchanged at the Chinnaswamy stadium, not taking the encounter lightly with Ireland following their victory over England emerging as a team capable of beating the biggies.
Ireland made one change drafting in Andrew White in place of Gary Wilson.
Former India captain Sourav Ganguly says India must be ready and up for the side?s game against Ireland.
?India are the better side when it comes to the two, but they must be ready and up for the challenge that Ireland will provide them with,? says Ganguly on this week?s ICC Cricket World Radio Show.
?Ireland has some outstanding players, chasing down England?s target with ease and Kevin O?Brien giving an outstanding performance so India will have to be up and ready for it,” he said.
Indian captain M S Dhoni said earlier that O’Brien got run out finally in their match against England and so “we will try to get him run out this game also.”
