Indian women won the compound team event defeating Malyasia in a play off. The trio-Bhagyabati Chanu, Jhano Hansda and Gagandeep Kaur-edged past Malaysia 223-219.
The first gold of the day for India was won by Gurpreet Singh and Vijay Kumar, who finished at the top in 25 m pistol pairs for men taking Infia?s gold tally to 12 so far. Kumar scored 587 and Singh 575 for a total of 1162 to take home the gold.
