Indian Govt gives nod for Indo-Pak cricket series in December
New Delhi : The Union Home Ministry has given nod for the India-Pakistan cricket series to be held at the end of December 2012.
The series would comprise three ODIs and two Twenty20 Internationals between December 2012 and January 2013.
The ODI matches will be played at Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata while the T20’s will be held at Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India had extended an invitation to the Pakistan Cricket Board in July for a short limited overs series in December.
BCCI vice president Rajiv Shukla said that the Board delegation discussed with the Home Secretary about security and other important issues.
