Jammu & Kashmir was hit by a ?mild? earthquake on Monday morning, said the disaster management authority.
The earthquake, that hit the state at 6.25am, measured 5.0 on Richter scale and its epicenter was in Pakistan.
“The quake was of mild intensity with coordinates measuring 36.23 north and 72.17 east,” said Amir Ali, in-charge of the disaster management cell, here.
No casualties or damage has been reported so far.
