Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK) slammed Rajasthan Royals (RR) by eight wickets in a completely one sided match of the Indian Premier League here on Sunday night.
The Rajasthan Royals were bowled out at only 97 runs in 18.3 overs by the KTK bowlers and then they chased down the winning score of 98 runs by losing only two wickets.
Rajasthan Royals batsmen had absolutely no clue of facing the KTK bowlers on Sunday as they kept on losing wickets at regular intervals.
AL Menaria tried to give resistance to the KTK bowlers with his 31 runs. He hit three boundaries and a sixer in the match.
Brad Hodge showed all round performance on Sunday. He took four wickets in the match with his slow off spin bowling.
Sreesanth and Parameswaran scalped one wicket each in the match.
Chasing 98 for victory, KTK reached the winning target of 98 runs in just 7.2 overs by losing only two wickets.
DPMD Jayawardene (6) and BB McCullum (29) were the two KTK batsmen who got out in the match.
P Patel (21*) and B.Hodge (33*) easily cruised the side to the winning mark.
Oram and Doshi scalped one wicket each for Rajasthan Royals.
