LeT militant killed in Kashmir encounter
Srinagar : One militant identified as Chacha Talha, affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit, was killed on Monday afternoon in an encounter near Reban, Sopore in North Kashmir.
The operation was jointly carried out by Sopore Police and 24 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) unit of the Army.
A cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered from the slain militant.
Search operation in the area was going on, when the last reports came in. Further details are awaited.
