Colombo : India kept alive semi-final hopes in the World Twenty20 with an eight-wicket win over arch-rivals Pakistan in a Super Eights match at the Premedasa Stadium here Sunday.
India achieved the target of 129 losing two wickets and with 18 balls to spare after Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 78.
India bowled out Pakistan for 128 with two balls to spare in a crucial Super Eights match of the World Twenty20 at the Premedasa Stadium here Sunday.
Lakshmipathy Balaja bagged three for 22 while Ravichandran Ashwin (2/16) and Yuvraj Singh (2/16) took two wickets each. Former skipper Shoaib Mallik top scored for Pakistan with 28.
In India Team, Virendra Sehwag and L Balaji have replaced Harbhajan Singh and Piyush Chawala.
