Suspected Maoist masterminds arrested in Bihar

Patna : Two Maoist masterminds suspected to have link in the killing and kidnapping of securitymen in Bihar’s Lakhisarai district last month have been arrested, the state police chief said on Friday.

Director General of Police Neelmani said the arrests were made following a specific information about hiding of Gopal Hembrom and Rajesh Murmu at Kajra in Lakhisarai on Thursday midnight.

The Maoists after slaying seven securitymen in an encounter also kidnapped four on August 29. Later the rebels killed one in captive and released three others.
