Actor Colin Firth clinched the ?Leading Actor? honour for his powerful acting in the movie ?The King’s Speech?.
While the ?Leading Actress? award went to Natalie Portman for ‘Black Swan’,Director David Fincher was named the best director for his film ?The Social Network?.
?The King?s Speech also clinched a number awards for Original Screenplay, Music, Supporting Actor (Geoffrey Rush) and Supporting Actress (Helena Bonham Carter).
Oscar winning Indian music composer A R Rahman, who was nominated in the ?Best Original Music? category, for his compositions in the movie ?127 Hours? by Danny Boyle, failed to clinch the award.
