TRS to boycott Chidambaram’s meeting

The Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS), demanding a separate statehood from Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday said it would not attend a meeting on Srikrishna committe report in New Delhi on Thursday.

Union Home Minister P Chidambaram will host the meeting at his office and is likely to make public the SB Srikrishna committee report on Telangana issue.

The Union Home ministry has invited eight recognised political parties from Andhra Pradesh for the proposed meeting to discuss the Srikrishna Committee report.

“But we will boycott the meeting,” a TRS source said requesting not to be named.
