L&T wins Rs 415 cr order from Hindalco, Sepco-I

Mumbai : Construction major Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has recently bagged two orders amounting to INR 415 crores from Hindalco and Sepco-I, said the company on Thursday.

The Hindalco order worth INR 253 crores is for carrying out structural steel works for the 6×150 MW captive power plant in Orissa.

The Sepco-I order valued at INR 162 crores is for the erection of boilers for their 2×660 MW Talwandi Sabo Power plant, developed by Sterlite Energy Limited in Punjab.

Sepco- I had already awarded INR225 crores to L&T during the first quarter of this year for carrying out civil works for this project.
