Omaxe receives contract from Defence Ministry

Mumbai : Omaxe Infrastructure & Construction Ltd (OICL), a wholly owned subsidiary of leading realty company Omaxe Ltd, has been awarded the contract from DGMAP, Ministry of Defence to construct a residential complex at Nagrota, Jammu and Kashmir.

The project is valued at Rs. 1279.3 million and the work entails Omaxe to ensure the development and construction of the residential accommodation for the defence officers, said the company on Monday.

Speaking on winning the contract, Rohtas Goel, CMD, Omaxe Ltd said, ?It is a very happy moment for us as we have bagged another Government project and it is our privilege to associate with Ministry of Defence.?

The project would involve construction of 33 blocks of eight-storeyed buildings with a total of 800 dwelling units for JCO?s and OR?s.

The work also includes internal electrification, internal water supply, road path, area drainage, security walls, fences and gates, street lighting, solar water heater, lifts and fire fighting systems as part of the project.

The project will be completed in 27 months.
