Sensex closed below 16000, Nifty at 4835

On week rupee and negative global clue, Indian market were trading low for whole day.

At end of day, Sensex closed at 15,948 pts while Nifty managed to trade above 3800 points and closed at 3835 its.

Bharti Airtel, Kotak Bank, Sesa Goa are top losers with more than 3% down while GAIL (3.54%) is top gainer in Nifty 50.

Currently, 33 stocks are trading in green, 16 stocks in red while 1 stock is without change in Nifty Index.

Rupee has touched new low today and crossed 56 level and managed to trade at 55.93 Rs/$.
