Uninor introduces new Talktime Transfer service

Mobile service provider Uninor on Tuesday announced the launch of a special Talk Time Transfer facility for its Karnataka customers.

This offering makes it possible for Uninor pre-paid subscribers to borrow or transfer talk time from family and friends should they require it.

Subscribers can transfer balance amounts ranging from a minimum of Rs 5 and a maximum of Rs 50 at one go; on any given day a maximum of 7 such transactions are allowed. This offer is applicable for Uninor Karnataka circle only.

Frode Haugen, Executive Vice President, Uninor Karnataka circle, said, ?Talktime Transfer is another initiative from Uninor to support our customers so that they can stay connected with family and friends at all times.?

?We are quite confident that this service will be extremely useful to subscribers and will help them stay in touch even with minimal balance,? he said.

Uninor is owned by the Norway based world?s 6th largest mobile services provider Telenor Group and India?s second largest diversified real estate major Unitech Ltd.

The Telenor Group has invested INR 6135.63 crores through new shares to hold 67.25% majority stake in the company.
