Victory over ‘Ravana’ at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi

New Delhi  :  Even as the country drenched in festivities, on the auspicious occasion of ‘Vijaya Dashmi’, the famous Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi today celebrated victory of good over evil.

Customary celebrations at the grounds saw Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, President, Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President, Hamid Ansari among others taking part in the festivities.

Effigies of Ravana, Meghanatha, and Kumbhakarana were burnt, thereby celebrating glory to Lord Rama,
