Here’s Everything You Want To Know About PGDBA From IIT Kharagpur
Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics, also known as PGDBA is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by IIT Kharagpur in conjunction with IIM Calcutta, ISI Kolkata. The two-year program is aimed at shaping business analytics professionals and making them employable in Indian and foreign firms. Are you qualified enough?

- If you hold a B.Tech/ BE/ M.Sc./ M.Com degree with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale, you can go ahead with the application process.
- If you belong to SC/ST or PwD category, you must have 55% aggregate marks or 6 CGPA on a 10 point scale to apply for PGDBA at IIT Kharagpur.
If you are willing to take up this course, you will have to sit for an entrance test which is one of the final steps for the selection of eligible candidates.
The written entrance test will have two sections:
- Section A: To clear Section A, you will have to brush up your Verbal Abilities and Logical Reasoning. Check out for your reading and comprehension skills; grammatical and sentence correction competence.
- Section B: Section B will test your skills in data interpretation, and quantitative aptitude. You will have to study and practice the basic mathematics concepts such as pie charts, trends, sets, algebra, combinatorics, etc.
You will be required to sit for a 3 hours test where you will be answering 50 questions for 150 marks. For every correct answer, you will get +3 marks but for every wrong answer, you will be marked negatively with -1 marks.

You will have to pay the fee in 4 installments for each semester. On failure of timely payment of the fee, you will be liable to pay the penalty as per the policy of each institute involved.
