Rockstar Movie Review : 3 Out of 5 Stars

Most waited movie for Ranbir kapoor goes on floor today. Movie stars Ranbir Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri. Movie is directed by Jab We Met” fame Imtiaz Ali and music is given by A.R.Rehman.

Rockstar is movie about Janardan (Ranbir Kapoor), a boy who wants to be Rockstar like Jim Morrison but he fails to impress audience (mostly college colleagues). He realized that he has to have some tragedy to be Rockstar but he doesn’t have any. He heard that Heer Kaul (Nargis Fakhri), a beautiful, arrogant college girl, has broken many hearts so he hopes that she will break his heart too and he can be Rockstar afterwards.

He tries and fails but both becomes good friends even she is going to get married in other 2 months. Story stars with his new Avatar, Jordan. He gets success with loss of his heart in each step.

Movie has very lengthy average script but it could have managed more well to be good one. Movie overlap present and past scenes many times. Its really good in terms of creativity but it fails to make good impress on Audience.

Movie’s really star is its music. A.R.Rehman has given best Rocking music but overdoes of same type of songs through out movie gives headache in last hour.

Ranbir Kapoor has done very good job. I should say Excellent Performance like matured actor. Debut Nargis Fakhri looks good but she needs improvement in her acting skills.

Overall movie is average and fails to impress audience. My rating for this film is 3 stars out of 5 stars. Watch it if you are Rockstar music fan.
