Cab Driver Shiv Kumar Yadav Found Guilty In Uber Rape Case

New Delhi : On Tuesday, Uber cab driver Shiv Kumar Yadav was convicted by a court here for raping a woman executive on the night of December 5, 2014, in his taxi she hired to head back home in Delhi’s Inderlok area.

Police said Yadav took the woman to an isolated place and raped her.

Additional Sessions Judge Kaveri Baweja held Yadav guilty for rape and other charges.

On January 13, the court had framed charges of rape, causing grievous bodily harm and endangering the life of a woman, besides other charges, against Yadav.
