Delhi gang-rape accused asks for capital punishment

In a vital development in the Delhi gang-rape case, the three other arrested accused Mukesh Singh, Pawan Gupta and Vinay Sharma have confessed to their crime before a court in Saket today.

According to media reports, Vinay Sharma confessed to beating up the victim and her male friend and demanded that he be hanged till death. While Pawan refused to undergo an identification parade, he along with Vinay told the court that they were ashamed of their act.

The third accused, Mukesh, who is the brother of main accused Ram Singh, also refused to undergo identification parade.
