Expulsion of Jaswantsingh from BJP
It is not good for Indian democracy that the main opposition-party BJP has become a Titanic with signs of drowning fast now clearly visible. Otherwise, mature Indian voters dreamt of an ideal two-party system in time to come when they voted Congress just to get rid of evils of multi-party political system.
It is time that like-minded parties of BJP ideology combine together under some undisputed leadership of a young, enthusiastic and charismatic personality like Sonia Gandhi in Congress, whose word may be a final say in all controversies and differences in the party.
It has become a fashion in BJP to create deliberate controversies to become a news-maker. But will the ban on Jaswantsingh?s book on Jinnah by Gujarat government survive before the courts of law when even Supreme Court declined to intervene in the matter of UP Chief Minister insulting Father of Nation!
