Government to lay Liberhan Commission report with ATR in current session of Parliament

Home Minister P Chidambaram said that the report along with Action Taken Report would be tabled in this session which concludes on 21st December.

Before that, Opposition has asked for reason of leaked of Liberhan Commission Report which was submitted to government on 30th June and it is required to table it in both the Houses (Lok Sabha and RajSabha) along with the ATR within six months.

Expressing shock over the indictment of senior party leader and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the report as published in a newspaper, Advani said “had I been indicted I would have it as a challenge.”
