Hopeful of getting access to Headley: Pillai

India on Friday hoped that it will get direct access to Lashkar-e-Taiba operative David Headley, arrested by American authorities in connection with the Mumbai terror attacks.

“We have been assured that Indian investigators would be given direct access to David Headley. This is a significant achievement and should put an end to the doubts expressed in certain quarters,” Home Secretary G K Pillai told reporters in New Delhi on Friday while presenting the monthly report of the Ministry.
