LoC killings: martyr Premnath Singh’s funeral

Chhapra : Funeral of Prem Nath, who was killed in an ambush by Pakistani soldiers on the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir two nights ago, was held on Thursday in Chhapra.

Four of the soldiers were from the 21 Bihar regiment, while one was from the 14 Light Maratha Infantry.

The names of the Jawans are: Lance Naik Shambhu Sharan Rai from Ara, Bhojpur district; Sepoy Raghunandan Prasad and Naik Prem Nath Singh from Chapra Saran district; and Sepoy Vijay Kumar Rai from Bihta block in Patna district.

The fifth, Pundalik Mane from Kolhapur in Maharashtra, belonged to the Maratha Light Infantry.
