18 killed in Paksitan bus explosion

Islamabad : At least 18 people traveling on a bus died after a major blast in the vehicle in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Monday, police said.

The passenger bus was passing through Hangu Road when the explosion occurred.

Rescue teams and the police have been engaged in removing the bodies and dispatching the injured to local medical facilities.

Terrorism can not be ruled out in the attack, police, who cordoned off the area, said.
