Pakistani Ministry for Sports Declared Status of Kabaddi Federation

Islamabad/Pakistan: Ministry for Sports declared Pakistan Kabaddi Federation as a genuine and recognized Kabaddi Federation of Pakistan.

A letter written to Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Sports stated that real Kabaddi Federation is headed by Senator Ch. Shujat Hussain with secretary Muhammad Sarwar and it is a recognized and affiliated Kabaddi Federation of Pakistan.

Few Days a ago Indian High Commission had written a letter to Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan and seek the information about the genuine Kabaddi Federation of Pakistan. In connection with this letter MOFA requested Ministry of Sports to notify about the authentic Kabaddi Federation of the Country.

?Fake Kabaddi Federation in India had invited some team from the bogus Kabaddi Federation of Pakistan. Their intend was to conduct the series between Pakistan and India but PKF took serious note of this unauthorized Kabaddi team visit from Pakistan to India and informed recognized Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India and relevant departments in the country about this sensitive matter?.

In response to this letter and news published in dailies of India Amateur Kabaddi Federation had also took serious notice and wrote a letter to Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India and said that AKFI would not be responsible for any untoward incident, which may raised due to the entry of unauthorized personnel of Pakistan in our country.

According to media reports Fake Kabaddi Federation in Pakistan and their counters parts in India were arranging the series of 15 matches between Pakistan and Indian illegal teams. These matches were schedule in September in the different cities in India.
