India retain FIFA ranking No 142, 23rd in Asia

In the latest FIFA rankings released Wednesday, India’s position remained unchanged and are still placed at no. 142 , while they too occupy 23rd place in the zonal ranking (Asian Football Confederation ie, AFC).

Spain lead the chart followed by the Netherlands on second spot. Germany gained a slot and are third ahead of Brazil, who see
themselves on 4th place.

In Asia, Australia remains Numero Uno, but the Aussies have slipped down to No.26 in the FIFA rankings. Japan gained a place to take the second spot, while Korea Republic are down to third.
