Pakistani High Commission mislead Nation, says Rashid Latif

Islamabad/Pakistan: Former Pakistan cricket team Captain Rashid Latif has criticized on the Pakistani High commissioner Wajid Shamsul Hassan over his views on cricket affairs.

?He has no authority to talk on cricket?, said former captain in an Exclusive interview.

He said that Pakistan Cricket Board can only talk about the legal action against National Players on spot fixing but High Commisioner has no right to talk on this sensitive issue.

Answering one question Rashid Latif who has played 37 test and 166 one day international for Pakistan said High Commissioner of Pakistan has misguided whole nation through his comments and he should have not talked about legal action against international Cricket Council.

?On Friday international Cricket Council has suspended three Pakistani players over betting Scam in which Pakistan Cricket team captain, Salman butt, fast bowler Muhammad Ammer and Muhammad Asif is included and ICC has said if the Pakistani players found guilty they could face life banned?

However High Commissioner of Pakistan Shams Wajid Hassan strongly Criticized the decision of ICC and said that ICC has misled High Commission of Pakistan in this matter and took the support of falsehood.

?Chief Executive of ICC Haroon Logat came to meet me and stayed here at least one hour. He ensure me not to put unnecessary pressure on Pakistani players and he did not talk about the suspension of Pakistani players? he said.
