Too taxing for RWITC

The state government has increased the tax on race betting from 10 to 20% and that has irked the Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) and the punters alike.Incidentally, the state government had reduced the tax in 1998-99 by 10%, but had gone back this year to increase the tax by 100%.
