Passenger train derails at Dantewada, none hurt

Raipur : Passengers escaped unhurt when the engine car and a bogie of the Kirandul-Vishakhapatnam passenger train jumped rails near Bhansi station in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district on Thursday.

Police suspect involvement of Maoists in the accident.

The bogie and the engine car jumped the rails about 6 am, but there was no report of any casualty. Movement of traffic on the tracks was restored within hours of the mishap, officials said.
