Alert in Surat after heavy rainfall

Surat : Surat Authorities have alerted citizens on flood after heavy rainfall in upper area of Surat and Ukai Dam for last 36 hours.

Outflow of Ukai dam at 2 PM today was around 434355 Cusecs and water level was 343 meters.

Citizens were seen taking food stocks for flood situation. Many schools had declared leave for the day.

As per source, rain may likely be continue till Wednesday.
