Not a good start by Akhilesh Yadav

Akhilesh Yadav instantly bowed to compulsion of muscle-politics just on taking oath as UP’s Chief Minister when he inducted ‘independent’ MLA Raja Bhaiyya in his cabinet even though his own party had a comfortable majority in the state-assembly. Akhilesh Yadav certified Raja Bhaiyya a clean personality only because erstwhile ruler Mayawati showed courage to arrest such a notorious person known for his criminal acts! Not all the cases against Raja Bhaiyya were filed by Mayawati. Records can reveal and confirm that even human skeletons were found from inside Raja Bhaiyya’s residence. Is it fair that the young Chief Minister may sideline judicial process by empowering himself to decide favorably about crimes allegedly committed by persons of his liking?

Samajwadi Party swept assembly elections in UP only on a negative vote for wasteful expenditure on statues and self-glorification by the then Chief Minister Mayawati. But such unclean acts of state’s new Chief Minister to induct criminals in his cabinet, may result in an early steep fall in popularity of Akhilesh Yadav.
