Uma Bharti to cast her vote in Lucknow

Lucknow : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) star campaigner Uma Bharti, who migrated from neighbouring Madhya Pradesh to make Uttar Pradesh her political abode, will cast her vote in Lucknow where polling will take place Sunday for the fourth phase along with 55 other state assembly constituencies.

Even as she chose a remote corner of Bundelkhand for her constituency, Uma Bharti found it convenient to show Lucknow as her residential address.

According to BJP sources, she would cast her vote at Navyug Degree College near Rajendra Nagar around 9.30 a.m.

Chief minister Mayawati proposes to take it easy and cast her vote around 11.45 a.m. at the Lucknow Montessori School.

Former chief minister and former BJP president Rajnath Singh will go to the PWD office polling booth at 10.30 a.m., Lalji Tandon to the Sondhi Tola polling centre at 10 a.m. while Kalraj Misra will got to the Nagar Nigam polling centre at 7 a.m.

UP Congress president Rita Bahuguna Joshi, who is contesting for the Lucknow Cantt seat, will cast her vote at the Lucknow Montessori School around 7.15 a.m.
