Eight killed in Bengal car accident

Falta (West Bengal)  :  Eight people, among them four women and three children, were killed when the car in which they were travelling fell into a ditch in West Bengal Monday, police said.

According to police, the victims were returning from Kolkata when the accident took place here in South 24 Parganas district, some 90 km from Kolkata.

The driver of the car lost control over the vehicle, which hit an electric post and fell into the ditch, police said.
