3 militants killed in Srinagar shootout in J&K

Srinagar : At least three militants and a policeman were killed in an encounter at Qamarwari area of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, initial reports said.

The terrorists were planning a suicide attack, reports said.

The ultras fired at the cops killing a constable when they were intercepted in the heart of the state capital.

In retaliatory fire, three militants died, police said.

Some weapons were recovered from the slain militants.
