Rajesh Talwar, who is pursuing the killers of his murdered daughter Aarushi, survived an attempt on his life on Tuesday outside a court here, police said.

The bleeding Rajesh Talwar was removed to Apollo Hospital immediately after the attack outside the special Criminal Bureau Investigation (CBI) court in this idustrial town of Uttar Pradesh.

He came to the court to file a protest petition in the case of daughter’s ghastly murder.

Utsav, a youth and resident of Varanasi, is studying film production in Ahmedabad’s National Institute of Design (NID).

His father, Sushil Sharma, is a professor of Mechanical Engineering in IT-Banaras Hindu University (BHU)

His latest attempt on Talwar was with a sharp edged weapon.

Rajesh Talwar moved the court with a 60 page protest petition seeking rejection of closure report filed by the CBI in Aarushi case.
