Assam: Students damage 45 vehicles, injure 15
Guwahati : At least 45 vehicles were damaged and 15 people were injured by protesting college students in Assam’s Kamrup district on Monday, police sources said.
According to reports, a group of agitated college student blocked the National Highway-37 at Kukurmara area in the district, demanding regular bus service by stopping the vehicles and pelting stones.
”At least 45 vehicles were damaged and 15 people including 3 drivers were injured,” a police official said.
The injured people were rushed to nearest hospital.
The situation was brought under control by
the intervention of senior police officials and district administration officials, who assured the angry students to ensure steps for regular passenger bus service in Kukurmara area.

the government told not to charge then also they are charging.
if the students are not provided free bus travel they will surely become aggressive .even today i see that they charge tickets from tickets as per said by the government .
bus conductors are very rude to them if they says that cost is not allowed to them then they bang them out immediately .
