Explosives recovered in Bihar

Bihar’s home ministry on Monday directed the police to find out the import routes of explosives after seizure of over 2500 kilos of highly inflammable substance from the trouble- prone Aurangabad district.

Bihar Special Task force, aided by local police, raided a residential place at Kishanpur village of Amba area following a specific inforation on Sunday night and recovered some 22 bags, each containing 50 kg of explosives,from there.

The task force also arrested two persons, including the owner of the house in this connection.

The task force also raided nearby Sarai village where they uncovered bags containing about 1400 kilos of explosives and arrested two criminals.

The home ministry has asked the police to investigate into the source of the explosive smuggling.
