Family drowns in UP car accident in Faizabad (UP)

Faizabad : Seven members of a family met a watery grave after their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a tank in Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday night, police said on Monday.

The mishap happened around 9:30 pm when the car suddenly slipped at a bend and tumbled into the water at the Gaddopur village.

All the occupants died by drowning before any recuse could come in dark night.

Two children were among the victims, who were travelling towards Lucknow, police said after verification.

All the bodies were fished out.
