IND vs Ned : Netherlands set 190-run target for India
The Netherlands were bowled out for 189 runs in 46.4 overs against India in World Cup Group B match at the Ferozeshah Kotla here Wednesday.
The Dutch made a good start with openers Eric Szwarczynski (28) and Wesley Baressi (26) getting a 50-run stand. Tom Cooper made 29 while Peter Borren Top scored with 38.
Their middle-order collapsed like a pack of cards and it was the 38-run stand for the eighth wicket between Borren and Mudassar Bukhari (21) that took the Dutch to 189.
India made one change from the side that beat Ireland by five wickets, bringing in left-arm seamer Ashish Nehra for Munaf Patel.
The Dutch included Bradley Kruger and Eric Szwarczynski in place of Bernard Loots and Berend Westdijk.
A victory for India in this day-night game will virtually assure them a place in the quarter-finals.
The Netherlands are yet to win a match in the tournament.
