India level series 1-1 as third Test ends in a draw

India ended the three-match Test levelled at 1-1 after the third and the final cricket Test against South Africa concluded in a draw on the fifth and the final day at the Newlands Stadium here Thursday.

Chasing a victory target of 340, India were 166 for three in the second innings when both the captains decided to call it a day 30 minutes before the scheduled close of play. South Africa made 362 in the first innings and 341 in the second. India made 362 in thd first innings.
