Peter Mukerjea’s custody extended till Thrusday
Mumbai: The former media tycoon Peter Mukerjea’s custody has been extended till Thursday, by the special court.
In CBI court, prosecution said that Mukerjea is not cooperating in the investigation of Sheen Bora murder case and demands to extend the custody for ten days. In response to the demand CBI court has issued the extention till Thrusday.
Mukerjea was arrested on Friday and remanded in three days’ custody, which ended on Monday.
Among other things, the CBI has contended that Mukerjea was aware of the killing of Sheena Bora, daughter of his wife Indrani Mukerjea from her previous marriage.
In August, Mumbai police arrested Indrani, her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and her former driver Shyamwar Rai in connection with the Sheena Bora murder.
