Ra.One Box office collection/Ra.One Earning
Shah Rukh Khan’s most ambitious sci-fi thriller hit the screens on Diwali and while some critics gave it a thumbs up for blending elegance of Hollywood with Indian sensibilities, others panned the superhero drama by labelling it just as a video game. The reviews notwithstanding, it has managed to collect Rs.18 crore at the home box office on the opening day.
Ra.One had 70% to 100% Occupancy levels all over India. The lesser-than-expected occupancy level was mainly due to the effect of Diwali festivities, which took a toll on the evening shows.

1st Day (Wednesday) – 16.63 Crore (biggest Diwali opening, surpassing Golmaal 3’s 8.72 Crore Record)
2nd Day (Thursday) – 22.8 Crore (Biggest Single Day record in India, surpassing previous record of Bodyguard.)
3rd Day (Friday) – 15.50 Crore (three day collection Record, crossed 53 Crore. Previously held by Bodyguard 52.6 Crores. Ra.one has earned 4 Crore from Telugu and Tamil Version so nett total earning is 57 Crore.)
4th Day (Saturday) – 14.25 Crore (Net Earning : 67 Crore)
5th Day (Sunday) – 18.5 Crore (Net Earning : 85.5 Crore)
Eros International had revealed that film had earned 170 Crore in a worldwide first weekend gross. Movie has earned 137.25 Crore only from India from all three versions.
