Sourav Ganguly batted with lot of responsibility: Yuvraj

Pune Warriors captain Yuvraj Singh lauded come-back man Sourav Ganguly for his team’s six wicket in the Indian Premier League (IPL) here Tuesday.

“Ganguly batted with lot of responsibility in his first game. We bowled well, didn’t allow the batsmen to play the big shots. It’s important for all the bowlers to perform well,” said Yuvraj.

Deccan Chargers captain Kumar Sangakkara said: “We’re fighting hard but not getting where we want to get. This pitch demanded around 150, we probably pushed too hard and lost too many wickets.

“We played poorly on certain occasions. We’ve played five bowlers most of the time and we’ve got to pull some wins,” he added.
